Biography
Born in Bulgaria in 1989, in 2008 Galina Eneva obtained diploma of Master violin maker of "National High School of Art and Design", Kazanlak. The same year she enrolls in the “International School of Violin Making” in Cremona, where she graduated in restoration under the guidance of the Masters Claudio Amighetti and Alessandro Voltini. During the years of study at IPIALL”A.Stradivari”
she attended specialized courses under the guidance of the masters Andrea Ortona and Emilio Slaviero.
In 2012 she attended one year specialized course in acoustics and tuning led by Luca Primon, where she had the chance to deepen her knowledge of construction and physical acoustics and the possibility of working with several luthiers like Greg Alf, Alberto Giordano, Marco Osio, Andrea Ortona.
In 2013 she did a six-month stage at the private workshop of Master Stefano Trabucchi.
Currently she is involved with the construction of classical and antiqued string instruments following the old Cremonese tradition.
In 2014 she participated with violin at Pisogne competition, where she won the bronze medal in the professional category.
Galina Eneva is the first Bulgarian woman priced in violin making competition.
